Welcome to the website of Groomingtails, Tadworth and Wallington’s favoured dog groomers. First opening our doors back in 2016, we’ve expanded our service range over time to include both dental and day care to see to the needs of our client base – and we also have a fully stocked pet boutique with a range of quality products we swear by.

Whether you’re looking to spruce up your pooch, get them clean after a mucky day at the park, find a trusted carer for days you can’t be at home with them, or deal with the signs of deteriorating oral health and hygiene, we’d love to hear from you. We’re open from Monday to Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, and close on Sundays.

As our name suggests, we’re first and foremost a team of dog groomers who help all shapes, sizes and breeds look their very best. Our grooming packages include a full wash, as well as nail clipping, ear cleaning and a trim to your specifications, always informed by what’s best for the breed. As members of the PIF Dog Groomers Association, we provide an exceptional standard of service and make sure your dog is comfortable throughout the groom. We make a point to welcome puppies to get them used to the experience early on, making a trip to the groomers far more enjoyable than a trip to the vets!

When you your drop your pet in at day care, you want complete peace of mind knowing that they’re being well looked after and will have a rich and rewarding time with trusted professionals. Groomingtails ensure this is the case as day care providers based out of well-equipped and carefully designed premises suitable for all breeds. We’ll get to know your dog, ensuring they get the kinds of socialisation and attention they’re already keen on and accustomed with.

Dental Care

Dogs are notoriously susceptible to serious dental decline, first noticeable from around the time they turn 2 years of age. While brushing at home is a great way to prevent this, sometimes professional care can be a massive help. We offer an ultrasound brushing service that achieves fantastic results in just a few sessions by getting to work on tartar, plaque and impurities. Another key benefit is that it’s low stress, being very similar to the standard brushing process.

Puppy Socialisation

Ensuring your puppy is properly socialised is one of the most important things you can do for them. But what exactly is socialisation? From around 4 weeks to 16 weeks of ages, your puppy’s brain is like a sponge, absorbing new experiences and taking in the world. When they have particular experiences during that window, such as meeting and playing with other dogs, you ensure they are equipped to thrive in life and exhibit the right kinds of behaviour in future encounters.

Failing to socialise your puppy can sometimes, but not always, mean they’re anxious about certain interactions. Visiting Groomingtails to socialise your puppy with others can be a hugely rewarding decision, and getting them in for a groom early on ensures they’re cool, calm and collected during future grooms!
